Kaluga Hybrid

The Kaluga Hybrid is a species created by mating a female Kaluga sturgeon (Husodauricus) with a male Amur sturgeon (Acipenser schrenckii).

Age of harvest: The fish are harvested at a minimum of ten years of age

Grain size: 3mm to 3.5mm

Hue: The grains have a subtle olive tint

Taste profile: The Kaluga Hybrid has a mild, earthy flavour with hints of mushroom, a gentle tang, and a subtle bitter finish
